Confined Space Entrant
Authorised Entry into Confined Spaces — Competency and Certification Course
The Authorised Entrant enters and works inside confined spaces under the protection of a permit, atmospheric testing, an attendant and rescue arrangements. This course covers what a confined space is, the entry team and the entrant's role, atmospheric hazards and the safe oxygen range, physical and engulfment hazards, the entry permit, atmospheric testing and continuous monitoring, ventilation and isolation with lock-out/tag-out, PPE and respiratory protection including SABA and SCBA, communication with the attendant, recognising danger and self-rescue, and non-entry retrieval systems.
