The Fire Warden (fire marshal) prevents fire in a defined zone every day and leads a calm, complete evacuation when the alarm sounds. This course covers the role and authority of the Fire Warden, fire behaviour and how smoke spreads, means of escape and fire protection systems, fire prevention and housekeeping, hazard awareness and reporting, the fire emergency plan and knowing your zone, raising the alarm and first response, leading an evacuation, sweeping and clearing the zone, assembly points and roll call, assisting vulnerable persons with PEEPs, and first-aid firefighting with a portable extinguisher. Frameworks: NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, OSHA 1910.38, and Saudi Civil Defence requirements.
